Here’s the short version of how this site got started: We were creating a quick list of ideas for a weekend visit to North Carolina, to send to some friends. And, before we knew it the list had gotten a little long and we decided to share it with the world. Being web designers, we are fairly competent when it comes to creating web sites.

We’ve expanded the site now, this being October 2013, and we’re working on adding more content to the site – our goal, as big as it is, is to eventually share our own viewpoint on the best things to do in North Carolina. We’ll start with the basics, and grow it from there.

We’re hoping to share the best museums, entertainment, restaurants, coffee shops, day hikes, and sightseeing spots in the state. North Carolina residents, and those visiting for the first time should find it useful. The list on the home page links to the very best online source we can find.
